Solution Architect

We are searching for talented and experienced Solutions Architects who have demonstrable experience in leading and delivering Azure Data Analytics solutions within enterprise-level organisations. We are seeking someone who can create and deliver a BI vision with customers across different sectors. You will be highly proficient working with business stakeholders and directing project teams and will have direct experience of a range of BI Tools and Platforms. You will have excellent knowledge and a proven track record architecting enterprise-level solutions.

The main activities are: 

• Proposes software solutions and provide insight and guidance on the development of differentiating business applications and digital platforms that will create business value and support business operation continuously
• Proposes and advises on software solutions by using relevant business and IT data.
• Responsible for preparing high-level estimates (scenario-level) and solution designs as requested. 
• Inspects and audits compliance with the overall software design specification. 
• Leads and consults with Business Analysts and Software Developers at every stage of the solution design producing requirements analysis and solution architecture design specifications
• Working within a project management/agile delivery methodology in a leading role as part of a wider team.
• Preparing solution roadmaps 
• Identifying enabling solutions 
• Advice and guidance on technology choices 
• Designing and delivering Azure Data Analytics solutions
• Requirements Analysis and Solution Architecture Design.
• Lead on Data modelling and data architecture design.
• Lead on data integration and data migration design.
• Adept at documenting solutions (e.g. data models, configurations, and setup).

Qualifications

• Be at least degree qualified in a stem subject
• You must have direct experience of solution shaping and architecture development, including excellent documentation skills and have a Microsoft Azure Big Data Architecture certification or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in architecting and delivering solutions using the Azure Data Analytics platform including Azure Databricks, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Search. 
• Experience designing and implementing machine learning solutions as part of high volume data ingestion and transformation pipelines and recent experience working in a Dev/Ops
